Simple Elegance,
LLC was born in 1996 from Kindra’s love of
weddings and her desire to find a career that would
be fulfilling and allow her to raise her children
without the compromise of the corporate world.
After her graduation from the University of Kansas,
she went to work for Hallmark Cards, Inc. She left
Hallmark Cards, Inc in 1996 and after becoming
certified by Weddings Beautiful, Simple Elegance,
LLC began. The business has grown to be one of
the most successful in the Kansas City market.
She is a member of the National Bridal Service Association and serves on the board of The Preferred Wedding Professionals Association. She was voted “Best of the Best” event planners by The Knot Magazine. Kindra will bring your wedding vision to life with attention to detail and personal service that has been touching the couples of Kansas City for over a decade. Her love of romance, her graceful skills of organization and her willingness to pull out all the stops will make your wedding a magical, memorable one for you to treasure. |

| Julie
grew up in the Kansas City area, attended Kansas
State University, and then Washburn University
for nursing school. She is Registered Nurse who
became interested in wedding planning while planning
her own wedding several years ago, with the assistance
of Barb and Kindra. It was one of the most enjoyable
experiences of her life. The process of planning
her wedding and the elegance and grace of the wedding
day, enlightened her to the value of a wedding
coordinator, and her passion for weddings. She
then went on to assist family and friends in planning
their weddings and completed her certification
through Weddings Beautiful to become a Certified
Wedding Specialist. Julie began her career with
Simple Elegance in 2002. She utilizes her experience,
knowledge, and organizational skills to create
your picture perfect wedding. She will make the
experience of planning your Wedding fun and exciting,
saving you time and stress. You have looked forward
to this day all of your life, let Julie and Simple
Elegance assist you to fulfill you dreams! |

Barbara
is married, and the mother of two grown girls.
While the girls were young, Barb was a stay at
home mom, active in PTA and as a Girl Scout leader
for two troops. When her children were in school
full time, she went back to college. She graduated
from the University of Kansas with a degree in
education. After teaching 4th grade for several
years, Barb has been an elementary substitute
teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District
for thirteen years.
The year of 2000 was a year of weddings for
Barb. She helped her sister plan her wedding,
held a friend’s wedding reception at
her house and, with her daughter Julie, planned
and organized Julie’s wedding. She so
enjoyed helping these brides to fulfill their
dreams for their wedding and reception, she
decided to become a Certified Wedding Specialist.

With a background in teaching and administration, Holly began working in the wedding industry by assisting friends and family with their big day. After planning her own wedding, she was an independent coordinator for one year, and was delighted to join the staff of Simple Elegance in 2006 to become a certified wedding specialist. Her attention to detail, creativity, organizational skills, and heart for serving others all add up to her unique ability to help brides create and enjoy the day they desire. With her fresh ideas and love for the area, she enables each couple to see their personal style reflected within the plans of their event.
Holly and her husband are both Kansas City natives, but currently reside in Lawrence, KS. She attended the University of North Dakota were she studied Elementary Education and had a successful volleyball career. |

Tiffany has worked as a professional in the finance and accounting industry since graduating from college. However, her creative side has always enjoyed planning events, including parties, showers, fundraisers, and especially weddings. Her love of wedding planning evolved from assisting multiple friends in planning their own weddings as well as her own. With Barb’s assistance, Tiffany was able to enjoy every minute of her wedding day and wishes to offer that same opportunity to other brides. Tiffany has a keen eye for style and sophistication, a strong attention to detail, and well developed organizational skills. Her desire for each bride & groom is that they enjoy their wedding day to the fullest and leave the details to her.
Tiffany joined Simple Elegance in 2006 and is a graduate of Rockhurst University with a degree in accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and Gold Retriever as well as running in marathon’s and local road races.
