Julie grew up in the Kansas City area, attended Kansas State University, and then Washburn University for nursing school. She is Registered Nurse who became interested in wedding planning while planning her own wedding several years ago, with the assistance of Barb and Kindra. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of her life. The process of planning her wedding and the elegance and grace of the wedding day, enlightened her to the value of a wedding coordinator, and her passion for weddings. She then went on to assist family and friends in planning their weddings and completed her certification through Weddings Beautiful to become a Certified Wedding Specialist. Julie began her career with Simple Elegance in 2002. She utilizes her experience, knowledge, and organizational skills to create your picture perfect wedding.
